Robbins Rest is a small community sandwiched between Atlantique and Fire Island Summer Club. It only consists of two roads and about 40 houses. Robbins Rest used to have a bar/restaurant, Tequila Jack’s, but it is now a private house. Robbins Rest also has a house that sticks way out into the beach on the ocean. Sometimes waves crash right up onto the pile-ons of this residence. People in Robbins Rest must trek through the sand to Ocean Beach for groceries and nightlife.
