July 4th weekend is upon us and there are new ferry schedules out. Take a look at the ferry schedules section for more information.
I ventured over to Cherry Grove last night for dinner at the Ice Palace. They have a special $5 chinese buffet every wednesday, as well as half-priced wine. The food was pretty good, the manager said they got their stuff from a chinese place in Sayville. I recommend it to anyone who is floating around at the beach during the weekdays.
Fire Island and the whole East Coast is in store for a soaking rainstorm for friday night. Luckily, it’s supposed to clear up on saturday and sunday for sunshine the rest of the weekend.
